Salat First (“the App”) — last updated 2026-05-03
This policy describes how the App handles information on your device. Salat First does not operate its own account system or cloud backend for core MVP features.
To calculate prayer times for where you are, the App may use approximate location on your device when you grant permission. That processing is intended to occur on-device using system frameworks and prayer-time calculation libraries.
If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. Content relates to prayer times and focus reminders only.
If you use Focus mode with Screen Time controls, Apple’s FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks manage authorization and shielding. App selections are stored on-device according to Apple’s APIs.
When you log that you have prayed, the App stores that record locally on your device (for example using SwiftData).
The MVP described here does not include third-party analytics SDKs or advertising networks unless explicitly disclosed in a future update of this policy.
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
