1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Smart TV Remote Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of the Service
The App allows you to control compatible Smart TVs over your local Wi‑Fi network. It discovers TVs on your network or connects via IP address and sends remote-control commands (e.g. power, volume, channel) using standard protocols. The App operates only on your local network and does not transmit data to the developer or third parties.
3. Eligibility and Use
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you will use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the App to control TVs or networks you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App (except as permitted by applicable law).
- Use the App in any way that could harm the App, other users, or third parties.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
5. No Warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SAMSUNG TV MODELS, NETWORKS, OR DEVICES. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
7. Apple / Google Terms
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Any claims related to the App are directed to the developer. To the extent these Terms conflict with the applicable store terms, the store terms apply only with respect to your relationship with that store.
8. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms will be revised when we change them. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we may notify you via the App Store or Play Store listing or an in-app notice. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App or your access if we believe you have violated these Terms or for other operational reasons, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Morocco, except where prohibited by law.
